The Bethel Ministry of Spiritual Enrichment
The Bethel Ministry of Spiritual Enrichment, led by Minister Jo Earle, is comprised of the Prayer Ministry Team, the Pray Until Something Happens Team, and the Intercessory Prayer Team.
Our BETHEL PRAYER STRATEGY is foundational to all of the ministries functioning in Bethel Bristol.
It is based on:
A CULTURE OF PRAYER and
A LIFESTYLE OF PRAISE
By loving one another, & praying God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, our prayer strategy will lead us
First and foremost, to love God, and His people & to love ourselves
To grow a !WOW! relationship (Worship, Offering, Word) with God.
To see more people coming to Christ, ongoing spiritual growth and maturity in the Body of Christ, & every spirit-filled believer walking in their God-given destiny, and fulfilling their God-sent purpose.
To see not just more people coming to know the LORD as their personal saviour, but to experience a REVIVAL on every level. A revival where whole families will be saved and their lives radically changed for the better.
To see the planting and growth of new Bethel community ministries, many of these online, to serve the needs of the community, locally & globally.
To see God choose and grow Pastors & Leaders after His own heart to feed His sheep in these new church communities.
WHY do we pray?
We are instructed in the Word of God to pray and not to faint Luke 18:1
Prayer and Fasting is the foundation upon which our Church is built. We add Fasting to Prayer, to become more intentional and expeditious in reaching our prayer goals:
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.’ Mark 9:29 KJV
Prayer is the engine of our Church. It drives us forward. Prayer is the vehicle in which we ride to reach our divinely-determined destination.
We are instructed in the Word of God to Pray without ceasing: it is our lifestyle: 1 Thess 5:17
We Pray earnestly, & with great focus:
‘Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all Saints’ Ephesians 6:18 KJV:
HOW do we pray?
We pray individually to have a personal daily connection with God.
2. Corporate Prayer:
-We pray together by calling into the Bethel Telephone to Glory Prayer call.
-We have an online prayer presence currently in the form of the Bethel Prayer Closet. See our website for monthly Thoughts, Affirmations, Prayers & Scriptures, which may be shared with friends, family & to those people to whom God directs us.
-Daily prayers are offered up by the Prayer Leaders in the Pray Until Something Happens Team.
God blesses us in our closets before He blesses us in the congregation, & in private before public. PRAYER is all about our relationship with God.
Our prayers make us salt in the earth, and lights to light up this world. Through our prayers, we turn sadness into joy and bring light into dark places. We are here to serve, and here to help. Here to make a positive difference in our communities, cities and continents, and it’s all done through prayer.
